Former Senator Lowell Weicker (R-CT) and former Watergate committee staff talked about their work. Senator Weicker served on the Senate Watergate Committee, officially known as the Select Committee on Presidential Campaign Activities. The committee was created to investigate the 1972 presidential election following the trial of the Watergate burglars in early 1973. Moderated by Lesley Stahl, the panel also answered questions on parallels between the Nixon and Trump administrations. close
