In remarks at the National Governors Association annual summer meeting, Vice President Pence asked for the support of governors as Senate Republicans were working to pass the latest iteration of their Affordable Care Act replacement bill. Mr. Pence, who expanded Indiana’s Medicaid program during his time as governor of that state, said he understood the concerns of governors in supporting the bill but that the bill was the best solution to fixing issues with the 2010 health care law. close
