Senate Democrats, including Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), held a press conference on their opposition to Republican efforts to repeal a Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) rule that would require forced arbitration clauses in contracts with consumers to bar their ability to participate in class-action lawsuits.
