House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and Ways and Means Ranking Member Richard Neal (D-MA) held a news conference to discuss the House Republican tax reform plan. Minority Leader Pelosi called the proposal an assault on the middle class. In addition, Representative Neal said tax reform should be bipartisan and urged Republicans to follow regular order by holding hearings on the plan.
