The final session of the World Economic Forum featured a panel of international central bank governors and financial analysts on the global economic outlook. Among them was Christine Lagarde, the managing director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), who warned about potentially destabilizing effects of the 2017 U.S. tax reforms on the global economic recovery, as well as “fractures” being created due to growing economic inequality across the world. The annual forum was held in Davos, Switzerland. close
