Actor, activist and New York gubernatorial candidate Cynthia Nixon (D) gave the commencement address to 2018 graduating students of the Helene Fuld College of Nursing. She talked about the importance of the nursing profession, her mother’s fight against breast cancer and the need for a more equitable health care system. In addition, she also spoke about the strength of women standing up around the country to protest gun violence, sexual harassment and other political and social issues. The commencement took place at the Bethel Gospel Assembly church in New York City. close
