Retired U.S. Army Sergeant Major Gavin McIlvenna talked about the creation of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery following World War I. A former guard at the tomb, and founder and president of the Society of the Honor Guard, he also describes the changing of the guard ceremony and reflects on the meaning of the monument. The National World War I Museum and Memorial hosted the event. close
