Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg talked about diversity in the legal profession at a discussion hosted by the George Washington University Law School and the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association. She recounted her experience as a young female and Jewish lawyer at a time when women and Jewish legal professionals often struggled to find equality within the field, and talked about the importance of diversity at law firms and on the nation’s courts. She also talked about many landmark Supreme Court decisions and about her disappointment with the politicization of the confirmation process for Supreme Court justices. close
