At an event on religious freedom, Vice President Mike Pence addressed the recent mass shootings in El Paso, Texas and Dayton, Ohio. The vice president reiterated the remarks of President Trump saying, “Hate has no place in America, and the sinister ideologies of racism, bigotry and white supremacy must be defeated.” He went on to say that “justice will be swift and certain” and the full resources of the federal government will be available to assist law enforcement with investigating the shootings. close
