Supreme Court Justice Elena Kagan spoke with Colorado Law School Professor Suzette Malveaux and answered student questions at the annual John Paul Stevens lecture. She talked about the inner workings of the Court and how it is viewed in today’s political climate. She told the law school audience that Court is not partisan despite the current political climate. She also argued that compromise is not a dirty word and explained the Court’s role in gerrymandering cases. close
