During a recess in the Senate Impeachment Trial, a handful of Senate Republicans spoke with reporters. Senator Joni Ernst (R-IA) stated, “four of the House managers have voted against lethal aid to Ukraine and they can sit there and lecture about this president not doing enough.”

Also, President Trump’s personal attorney Jay Sekulow reacted to House impeachment managers' presentations and said, “it’s been a lot about Joe Biden and Burisma. They kind of opened the door for that response.” close
