Missouri Governor Mike Parson (R) held a briefing in Jefferson City on the state’s response to the coronavirus pandemic. He said the state continued to show signs of progress in phase one of its reopening plan but that testing would remain critical to the strategy. Governor Parson said the state would work to increase its diagnostic and antibody testing and start to begin sentinel testing, in which random tests are conducted to determine the prevalence of the virus in a community. close
