He spoke at a hearing on racial profiling and police brutality along with several law enforcement officials and civil rights advocates, including his attorney Ben Crump, National Urban League President Marc Morial and Houston Police Chief Art Acevedo. In his opening statement, Mr. Floyd talked about the life and last moments of his brother. “I’m tired of the pain I’m feeling now and I’m tired of the pain I feel every time another Black person is killed for no reason,” he said.
