President Trump hosted the foreign ministers from the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain along with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House to sign the Abraham Accords--a deal to normalize relations between Israel and the two countries. President Trump said the “historic” agreement “sets history on a new course.” Following his remarks, the three leaders spoke and then signed the agreements. Several members of the president’s cabinet were in attendance, including Secretary of State Mike Pompeo. close
