Vice President Kamala Harris hosted a virtual town hall with women lawmakers and advocacy organizations to discuss the impact the coronavirus pandemic has had on working women and households and the way forward with the Biden administration’s American Rescue Plan. Following her remarks, a few lawmakers delivered remarks, including House Appropriations Committee Chair Rosa DeLauro (D-CT), who said women have been forced out of work due to “inadequate policies.” close
