David Davenport, a Hoover Institution research fellow, took part in a U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation discussion on the need for civics education and engagement. Mr. Davenport spoke about his recent paper on the decrease in civics education in schools across the country and recommended a renewed focus and additional teacher training in the subject. close
