State Department Spokesperson Ned Price said the U.S. is assisting in efforts to examine evidence of war crimes committed by Russian soldiers in Ukraine. Mr. Price also spoke about U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. Linda Thomas Greenfield’s request that Russia be removed from the U.N. Human Rights Council. Undersecretary of State for Arms Control and International Security Affairs Bonnie Jenkins and Bureau of Political-Military Affairs Acting Deputy Assistant Secretary for Programs and Operations Karen Chandler also joined the briefing to speak about a report on ensuring safety in post-conflict communities. close
