They discussed the role of President Biden’s student debt relief program, school choice, equity, and COVID-19 pandemic-related education policies in the election results, and what this mean for education policy in the 118th Congress. The panelists agreed that there was no “red wave” of Republican wins as predicted during this election cycle, and voters rejected extremist views for moderation. close
