Attorney General Merrick Garland announced the appointment of Robert Hur as special counsel to investigate the classified documents found in a private office formerly occupied by President Biden’s and at his Wilmington, Delaware home. The documents in question reportedly date back to when Mr. Biden served as vice president. Attorney General Garland also addressed Mr. Hur’s credentials as a longtime federal prosecutor. close
