Energy sector stakeholders and policy advocates testified on emerging threats to U.S. energy infrastructure before the House Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations. A variety of topics were discussed, including climate change concerns, cybersecurity, threats posed by domestic extremism, and the impact of a green energy transition on the existing energy grid. They also addressed the potential threats from adversaries such as China, Russia, and Iran to the U.S. energy sector and how best to build in restorative capability in the event of an attack. close
