The families of several of the 13 U.S. service members killed in a suicide bombing at Kabul International Airport during the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan heavily criticized the Biden administration for what happened to their loved ones. One of the Gold Star father’s called President Biden a “disgrace” and an “asshole.” Another demanded accountability in the highest ranks of the administration, calling for the president, Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, and Secretary of State Antony Blinken all to resign. The families' criticism and demand for answers came during a roundtable discussion with lawmakers who serve on the House Foreign Affairs Committee. The committee was investigating what happened leading up to the deadly attack. close
