Tennessee State of the State Address

Tennessee Governor Bill Lee (R) delivered his State of the State address during a joint session of the legislature in Nashville. He discussed prioritizing economic investment across rural counties, statewide permitting reform, increasing access to health care, and protecting the music industry from artificial intelligence (AI). In addition, Governor Lee addressed investing $140 million in public school resource officers following the school shooting at Covenant School in Nashville.
