House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) and 2024 Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump held a news conference after meeting at Mr. Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Florida. They discussed illegal immigration and border security, with Speaker Johnson announcing that House Republicans would introduce legislation requiring proof of citizenship to vote. Moreover, Donald Trump took reporters' questions on several topics, including supporting Mike Johnson amid Rep.
