Former President Trump spoke in Freeland, Michigan, where he campaigned for his bid for a return to the White House. The presumptive 2024 Republican presidential nominee spoke about the New York hush money case against him in which he called it the “Biden trial” and a “fake trial.” He also said the judge in the case is “crooked and conflicted” and that the judge “unconstitutionally gagged” him. He also touted his administration’s role in returning the issue of abortion to the states and thanked the U.S. Supreme Court for its “wisdom and courage” following the overturning of Roe v. Wade. close
