UnitedHealth Group CEO Andrew Witty apologized for the chaos after cyber attackers targeted one of its companies, Change Healthcare, in February 2024. Mr. Witty’s apology came as he testified during a public hearing before the Senate Finance Committee. UnitedHealth Group is the largest health care insurance company in the U.S., and one of the largest companies in the world. As he departed the more than two-hour long hearing, protesters confronted the CEO. Mr. Witty was also scheduled to testify before a House subcommittee on the same day. close
