Congressional Republican leaders reacted to the signing of the president’s crime bill earlier today. Senator Bob Dole (R-KS) and his colleagues announced that they opposed the bill and that they had re-introduced ten amendments to the bill. Senator Dole claimed they had been denied the opportunity to introduce these amendments on a procedural vote. close
