Mr. Wolens filed a class action suit on behalf of other frequent flyers on American Airlines sued the company for losses from a change in the frequent flyer policy. The airline began to limit seats on certain heavily-travelled for people using frequent flyer trips. The company appealed to the Supreme Court. The issues of the case involve whether state or federal regulations or both apply to the airline industry. Anne McNamara of American Airlines spoke on behalf of he employer. close
