Panelists discussed alternatives to the current affirmative action programs that still ensure that discrimination against minorities is illegal. They also talked about who has benefitted from affirmative action, women and upper to middle class African-Americans, and who is still being left behind in the economy, the lower class. After their presentations, they took questions from the audience.
