John Major, British Prime Minister, spoke about the situation in Bosnia. More than 3,000 British soldiers are part of the United Nations peacekeeping force in Bosnia, along with soldiers from other nations. Britain this week committed an additional 65 forces for peacekeeping reinforcements. There are about 400 peacekeepers, 33 of whom are British, either surrounded or being held by the Bosnian Serbs. close
