President Bill Clinton spoke at a campaign fund raiser in the Mayflower Hotel in Washington, DC. The president referred to recent trips to Wyoming and Hawaii recognizing both the diversity and connection of different regions of the country. He explained that although his administration succeeded in the area of the deficit, crime, family and medical leave, growth in small business, and global peace, he would accept anything less in terms of health care reform. President Clinton asked the audience to remain upbeat and optimistic, and to vote for him. close
