Participants discussed the status and future of several federal nutrition programs, including food stamps, WIC school lunches, school breakfasts and child care. Professor Peter Rossi, University of Massachusetts Amherst, Social and Demographic Institute, presented his report on the effectiveness of these programs and then four other panelists commented on his conclusions.
