Mr. Berger spoke about President Clinton’s foreign policy agenda for his second term. He talked about the need to move beyond the idea of post-Cold War diplomacy to the realities of the emerging international arena in the 21st century. He stated that the U.S. is committed to fostering peace wherever and whenever a difference can be made and mentioned more interest in areas such as Turkey and Central Asia.
