During a campaign swing through Michigan and Wisconsin, President H.W. Bush addressed an audience at the Holland American Wafer Company in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Speaking in shirtsleeves inside the factory, the President recalled the major events of his first term in office, including the end of the Cold War, and claimed to place his faith in the trust of the American people. He touched on education issues, deregulation policies, and the need for change in American politics.
