Professor Joseph Collins of Columbia University, discussed what would make up an allied force for ground operations in Yugoslavia. He talked about why the administration was hesitant to send troops to the region and the risks involved with a ground war. He thought that the administration should have considered the possibility of ground troops from the beginning of the conflict. He reviewed the weapons and arms that would be deployed as the next step of NATO action in Yugoslavia. He responded to audience telephone calls, faxes, and electronic mail. close
