President Biden made virtual remarks to attendees at the National Action Network 2024 convention, where he noted his administration’s progress in investing in underserved communities. The president acknowledged that more work must be done but also stated, “extremists are determined to erase the progress we have made, but together we are determined to make history, not erase it.” At the conclusion of his speech, the president responded to several questions from reporters, including if he had a message to Iran on its possible attack against Israel. Mr. Biden replied, “Don’t.” He also said the United States is devoted to the defense of Israel. The president spoke from the South Court Auditorium of the Eisenhower Executive Office near the White House grounds. close
