The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) held an open meeting from FCC headquarters in Washington, DC, on net neutrality, the implementation of geo-routing and location-based services for the 988-crisis hotline, and enforcement actions taken against several pirate radio station operators. While the commission voted unanimously in favor of geo-routing for the 988 hotline and enforcement actions against pirate radio operators, they voted along party lines to restore net neutrality, which was repealed in 2017 under the Trump administration. close
