Carolyn Maloney

Carolyn Jane Maloney is an American politician serving as the U.S. representative for from 2013 to 2023, and for from 1993 to 2013. The district includes most of Manhattan's East Side, Astoria and Long Island City in Queens, Greenpoint, Brooklyn, as well as Roosevelt Island. Maloney left the House of Representatives after losing re-election in the 2023 Democratic primary to longtime colleague Jerry Nadler ending her thirty years in the United States House of Representatives.
