The Senate Judiciary Subcommittee on Court & Administrative Practice heard testimony on a bill that would provide civil federal remedies against acts of international terrorism. This would be accomplished by adding a civil counterpart to current law which provides criminal prosecution of terrorism. The panels also included witnesses from families of victims of recent terrorist acts. close
