Polish Ambassador Kazimierz Dziewanowski discussed the tenth anniversary of Solidarity in Poland. The ambassador was the deputy editor of the Solidarity newspaper. He took part in the strike led by Lech Walesa which ended in August 1980 with an agreement with the Polish government guaranteeing workers the right to form independent trade unions. close
