Ms. Tutwiler spoke to reporters on terrorism around the world. Terrorist incidents against U.S. affiliated interests have occurred in Turkey and Chile since the beginnings of the Persian Gulf conflict between the U.S. and Iraq, and allied affiliated interests have also been targets of terrorists in recent days. She did, however, state that there is no evidence that the terrorist incidents around the world are being carried out by Iraqi affiliated groups. Ms. Tutwiler deplored the Iraqi attacks against Israel, and said the U.S. would continue to stand by Israel in the future. close
