Terrorist incidents against U.S. affiliated interests have occurred in Turkey and Chile since the beginnings of the Persian Gulf conflict between the U.S. and Iraq, and allied affiliated interests have also been targets of terrorists in recent days. She did, however, state that there is no evidence that the terrorist incidents around the world are being carried out by Iraqi affiliated groups.
