Brig. Gen. Pat Stevens spoke to reporters on the sixteenth day of Operation Desert Storm. He said the weather was generally worse than previous days, but the operation was proceeding as planned very successfully. He repeated the operation’s targeting priorities and the daily number of sorties. Brig. Gen. Stevens also described minor skirmishes with Iraqi forces along the coast of Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. He went on to detail Iraqi battle damage reports in recent battles. close
