Mr. Kansteiner outlined the Bush administration’s foreign policy goals in Africa and the major issues shaping Africa policy. Among the issues he addressed were anti-terrorism efforts following September 11 attacks, foreign aid and assistance, developing sustainable economic and political systems, and the AIDS crisis. Following his remarks he answered questions from the audience. close
