Author Stephen Fox talked about his book, Transatlantic: Samuel Cunard, Isambard Brunel, and the Great American Steamships, published by HarperCollins. Mr. Fox talked about the history of the transatlantic steamship and the experience of crossing the Atlantic during the early part of the 19th century. He also read sections of the book covering the sinking of the Lusitania and the voyages of the Mauritania. After his presentation he answered audience members' questions. close
