Panelists discussed the practice of saying the Pledge of Allegiance in schools. Michael Newdow, an atheist, sought to have the words “under God” declared unconstitutional and removed from the Pledge of Allegiance. He argued his own case Elk Grove Unified School District v. Newdow before the U.S. Supreme Court. The panelists responded to questions from students in the audience. Mr. Milewski moderated the discussion. close
