U.S. Special Counsel Scott Bloch talked about the Hatch Act which specifies which political activities federal employees can and cannot engage in. Topics included whistle-blowers, other laws that apply to federal employees, and current investigations being conducted by the Office of Special Counsel. OSC is an independent agency whose mission is to protect federal employees from retaliation for whistle-blowing and to enforce their compliance with the Hatch Act.
