Participating by remote connection from Davie, Florida, State Senator Steve Geller talked about the Florida Democratic Party’s proposed plan for holding another primary, largely with mail-in ballots to the state’s 4.1 million Democratic voters. He responded to telephone calls and electronic mail.

Florida held a primary on January 29, 2008, earlier than was allowed by the Democratic National Committee. The DNC consequently stripped Florida of its 210 convention delegates. close
