A panel discussion was held on the future of the International Space Station.

Mark Uhran talked about the work that has been done so far in 2008, as well as the designation of the space station as a national laboratory, which allows other government agencies, universities, and private firms to use the station for research objectives. Carl Walz and Mark Uhran narrarated a five-minute film clip of the evolution of the international space station. Robert Richards talked about

the cargo supply system developed by Orbital Sciences.
