Paul Buhle and Mike Konopacki talked about the graphic history book they wrote with Howard Zinn, A People’s History of American Empire (Metropolitan Books, April 1, 2008). They discussed their collaboration with Jane Daily. Topics included using graphic images to engage young people, the narrative nature of the book which is from the point of view of Howard Zinn, and their concept of American empire.
