Ceremonies were held in recognition of the Centennial Meeting of the National Governors Association (NGA). Retrospective videos were also shown. Then current and former governors participated in discussions of the NGA’s record and on state leadership and federalism. They also spoke about policy issues facing state government, the fall general election, and economic issues. Richard Norton Smith moderated the discussions.

“A Legacy of Leadership” was the theme of the opening session of the National Governors Association’s Centennial Meeting, held in Verizon Hall of the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts. close
