World War II veterans and family members commemorated the 69th anniversary of Japan’s surrender in World War II, called VJ Day. George Prescott Bush, grandson of President George H.W. Bush, gave the keynote address. It was the 70th anniversary of his grandfather, former President George H.W. Bush, being shot down while serving as a Navy fighter pilot in 1944. close
